Italy wins 2012 AQHA Youth World Cup with Germany following on Second Place

The AQHA Youth World Cup 2012 in Kreuth ended with the second shows in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding and Showmanship. The day ended with double success both for Sophia Raschat (GER) and Reneé Brieger (AUT). 18-year-old  Sophia Raschat from Munich , for whom this was the fourth Youth World Cup, won the second show in Pleasure as well with CM Joys Lotta Radical (Bes. Marleen Van de Put) and also claimed the title in Hunter under Saddle. In Western Pleasure,  Liz Stors (LUX) and Cant Stop Talkin placed second, Daniela Wagner-Winter (GER) and One HP (owner Roberto Arditi) third. In Hunter, Sylvie Peters (LUX) and Cant Stop Talkin placed second with Tal Rainer (ISR) and WB Diamond Dawn following on third place.

18-year-old Austrian René Brieger, who was multiple Austrian Champion, won the Showmanship aboard KJU Staint N Duino with Brittany Donald (USA) and Oaks Little Nikki resp. Alessandra Ouellet (ITA) and Suddenly Its All Good following. With Codys Smart Peter, René repeated his success of Thursday winning the Western Riding. Lauren Bruls (BEL) and Fashion Zippo Pine placed second, followed by Alessandra Ouellet (ITA) and Suddenly Its All Good.

 In Horsemanship the winner was Alexandre Bruls (BEL) aboard Fashion Zippo Pine (owner Marco Stors). Rianna Storey (CAN) and The Right Luke (owner Chloé Shaw-Jackson) placed second, Georgia Higgins (NEZ) and Little Mega Jac third.

 In Hunt Seat Equitation Rianna Storey (CAN) and The Right Luke claimed the second show as well. Paige Stopperich (USA) and Oaks Little Nikki placed second, Dido Masi (ITA) and  Lady Catalyst third.

 The Trail was won by Melina Hugelshofer (SUI) aboard Cal Me Silver with Kelsey Hare (NEZ) aboard Tommy Peppy Jets placing second and Daniela Wagner-Winter (GER) aboard Arc Snappy Madera placing third.

 In nations ranking the winner was the team from Italy with Germany following on second place and New Zealand on third place.
